Hi everyone, one more time the Marking video’s assignment is about to due soon. There are a few topics on the raw but I picked the one that I am able to do with my beatbox skill, the only idea came up at first in my mind was embed a short beatbox into the music background and my teacher (Bob) also recommended me to make a video about AI music, I didn’t think that he can read my mind at what appropriate topic to choose, everything becomes clear for me about the next step to do.

Honestly, I was so over confident about my ability to finish my video quickly, but I didn’t think that besides of making video, I have to record myself for thousand times, research hundred of article and book to find out a suitable one for my assignment, moreover there are also tons of extra videos, images, music that I need to have for a basic quality of my video. As you can see, alongside of major skill, time management is also extremely crucial for any kind of project, until this time, there is only 1 hour left to submit before it is due. Actually, I did set out the plan on application as well as time reminder to finish my work as soon as possible, I was even shared it to my friend (Peace) so that we will have time to play game together , but we do not.

The hardest task in this assignment I think is recording, I admire to have a better pronunciation and accent, so I take advantage of this assignment to practice it as much as possible, I did hundred of video and spend a lot of hours just repeat a same sentence, that was so awkward for me, I could not speak loud and clear because of shyness but later on I get along very well with it.

I tried to create a intro for my video by combining photos and videos that I came across on the way I go home, I want it to be as energetic as possible because I don’t think my video will interest people , it also about the problem of time requirement that I want it to be very short just about few seconds, but conveying the more information the better. Otherwise, I saw that it is not easy to make people understand what I am talking about so I use a few pictures to illustrate my speech.

Recording took me most time, finding resources is slightly easier, then arranging the resources and editing video took me quite less time, I did the script also pretty fast ( this maybe the reason that my recording step is so difficult for me but overall rehearsing time is the most valuable and satisfying work in this assignment.

In conclusion, I learnt a lot of treasured experiences especially the skill of talking with camera as well as create speech content. Moreover, the skill that I need to spend more time and concentrate on is time management and self-management, I can not accomplish my work on time or lose inspiration usually because of lack of focus on work and easily be distracted by the sidetracks around me despite of plans and aims are set up, the next time, I will prepare more carefully in script, be more consistent toward invitations .

Hi guys, have you ever made a video about yourself ? I’ve just got one for everybody to get to know me, it gives me a lot of feelings when doing it .

In my video, you guys will probably be surprised because of my beatbox showcase XD go with fantastic B-roll footage. All the images,videos was accumulated since the day I put my very first feet off the plane, I knew someday it’ll very helpful to study as well as memorize the ‘good old day’ when I get old …LOL!!

I was thinking so hard for a starting but it’s really difficult so I think of putting my talent in there and I am really happy with it ,in contrast, I was too focus in combining too much effects, transitions, B-roll, so I forgot to introduce my name, my admiration, everything that the assessment requires…such a shame, it was even over the time limit (3 minutes 46 seconds, litmitation is only 2 minutes)

For the technique I used in my video, I focused a lot in balance at the first place, try to create enough space each side, limit the gap from bottom and top. I applied a surprise appearance by jumping in and engaging closely to the camera in order to create realistic impact to people watching it. Otherwise at the middle and end, I picked a good spot which is lack of noise ( except natural sound like crowd of birds ) on purpose of making my video have more clarity in both sound and background, I also put myself in one-third principle , employed my camera in a view that show more depth of field ( show a long line behind me ) I think it is frontal position as well , with a Medium closeup shot size, I made my talking scene become more comfortable just like im in a discussion with everyone .Moreover, I tried to give some angles in my videos but it seems quite inappropriate so I cut them off and choose a safer way, in particular for a very quick scence that pedestrians pass the road , I have my phone whip pan the overall view at Flinder street, so I doubled and reversed one of it , boosted a lot then I got a extreme quick transition that I used twice in my first B-roll. There is a scene I took in bus look over the street, and the brick wall at school, I also applied Dolly technique from the dark place to bright with the ultimate goal expressing way more dramatic .Worms-eye Is an epic angle which gives special feelings to everyone if put in right way, I gave myself a chance to try it and I think it works pretty satisfactorily in my opinion, and it’s the signs and grass scene. IT EXTREMERLY DRAMATIC !!. sadly I don’t have any birds-eye , and I really want to try it

About myself , I love my video even that is my first product, in the process making it, I got a few nuisances about my files, Premiere, many things disturbed me but I wasn’t worry much because I know what im I doing. Embrassing? Awkward? Out of ideas? YES , I’ve all experienced that , very hopeless but I can easily get my calm back. I was thinking too much about what im gonna say, what next I have to do, they went me crazy but after I get rid of all these things by a action ( mindless action ) is keep recording and talking , I’ve done almost hundred of these , just thinking without talking…I mean… just talking without thinking  then I picked out the most satisfied me. Combining all these short videos really makes magic, I feel like im quite fluent in speaking and seems like nobody will care about it. And the last thing I have done is tapping this one, at first place I have no idea what im gonna say and I research online ,I find out bunch of things interesting ,then revise the lecturer of Bob , it makes my head store thoundsand of words not only 600 but that’s all I think I better stop now or Bob will kill me LOL .Thanks for watching, we love you Bob!!!
